TRANS* INCLUSIVE CHURCHES
Privacy
Never share someone is trans* without their consent.
Never assume or insist it is the trans* persons job to share personal information.
Toilets
Where possible, make toilets gender-netural and accessible. With separate spaces, consider 'what's in here' signage. Provide menstrual products in all toilets.
Questions
If in doubt never ask a trans* person a question you would not ask a cisgender person.
Let them share on their terms, ask open questions.
Pronouns
Respect others by using their correct name and pronouns. These may match their appearance, they may not.
Some are called neopronouns as they are newly in use.
